    Tour of Tours

Okay, everyone agreed in Trans Britain Ultra thread this sounded like a good idea - here's where we come up with the plan.

For the Tour of Tours (TOT), we need:

Between 5-6 routes to be completed on consecutive days, taking in the UK's best fell-running.

Each stage to be 15-30 miles in length. Circular routes each one, so drivers can join in (drivers can rotate each day).

Possibly starting in Scotland, coming down to the Lakes, into the Yorkshire Moors, on to the Peaks, ending in Wales - with maybe a wildcard location thrown into the mix.

Aiming to keep the requirements to a minimum: minibus, running kit enough for 5/6 days running (including standard FRA safety stuff), camping equipment and, most importantly beer money for beer and whiskey (BAW).

Suggestions for stages so far include 3 Peaks for Yorkshire, and a section of BGR for the lakes.

What else have we got? Over to you...

Maps are upstairs in kids room - I'll look at them tomorrow and see how possible/stupid that idea is.

FW to Clachaig sounds a good route indeed and will require a driver (1st day....?). From Glencoe down to the lakes could be a 4 hour drive which would make day 2 a long one if a lengthly Lakes route was intended. Maybe a 1st day circular route north of FW followed by this followed by a rest day/travel day down to the lakes?? Can we have rest days?

we need an interest list then i dont mind getting quotes for minibus if we can decide a length of time we would be needing one, and rest days do sound good for the "BAW" tour of tours
