Results up for Hyndburn - enjoyed it today - always do at Wilsons.

Well done to Norman and the team - it was well set up.

Noticed Danbert making a rare appearance in the Mid Lancs - looks like he's got some work to do for the National

No joke pal - this is a fell runners forum - and we had Laura Park running the XC today - perhaps the most accomplished junior fell runner in the world - with the FRA National U16 Champ and Home International Champ behind her in second place. Another Junior National Champ was a winner in the U13's and there were several other notable fell runners in many of the races.

Even the best fell runners realise that you have to do more than just run on the fells.

Also can I just say that the U16 English Fell Champion won the U17 mens race. I think you obviously need the cross country season in order to prepare for the fells. And who is to say that fell runners cant be equally as good on the country.....

Not quite the one I had in mind - the U16 Fell Champ (Girls) was with the U15 Boys and was 2nd U17W to Laura Park.

    I had missed Ashley!

Just a note to everyone that we have an amended course at Witton for the final Mid Lancs.

Should suit climbers! New loop to Point E.

You could call it a double saucer lap!

    Route is on http://www.midlancs.org.uk/xc/blackburncoursemap09.pdf
