ive finally took the plunge and decided to take to off road races/events on foot (instead of mtb), i was looking at trying the lakeland 50m next year but am looking for a partner male/female or any other species out there what would like to team up or give me any pointers would be much help.

Well, my collies did most of it this year, maybe they'll go for a run with youmale/female or any other species
Not decided on the 50 or the 100 yet for next year and probably prefer solo, but can vouch it's a great event and think they'll even be running some 'training events/recces' before next years race if you want to familiarise yourself with the route and don't fancy heading out on your own...
That sounds a good idea about the route reccies what marc is doing, may have to have a look into that after iv let this weekends 24hr event get out my system.
