    lance armstrong's books 'it's not about the bike' and his next one 'every second counts' are good reads considering his 3% chance of survival. thanks for the replys, read a few, but plenty to go at, ta.

    Anything by Joe Simpson is a good read - very thought provoking, can be a bit miserable though.

    Also like the white spider.

    Got 'Barefoot Runner' biography of Abebe Bikila for Christmas but haven't started it yet because I've had so many others on the go. It looks good. Not running, but I remeber enjoying A Rough Ride By Paul Kimmage - a real eye opener on drugs in cycling.
