Superb event, great mix of XC and fell terrain (bit too much road). Slightly depressing being beaten by a ballerina though...
This was my first ever off road race, in 2005. And it became the reason I ended stuck for the rest of my life doing this looney sport.
(its not a true fell race, its about a third fell, third road and a third x/c. The most perfect beginner's race imaginable).
Make sure you go dressed up. Really, its a beautiful race.
