over-rated - dead heat between Star Wars and Citizen Kane

worst - Battlefield Earth (I thought everybody knew this?)

however, as this is all just personal opinion, I predict we will get the exact same films as those mentioned in the Favourite Movies thread cropping up on here...

Agreed Mr Slug. Life of Brian is one of my all time faves.
Oh, and come on everybody, Independance Day was meant to be crap! Its the funniest bit of sustained p*ss taking ever consigned to celluloid.
Now the crap film of that ilk was that stupid David Duchovny thing where they killed the alien with a fire hose up its jacksie...what was it called? Evolution or something.

see now THAT one was clearly a p*ss take!!

I thought the 'modern' Italian job was overrated with wassizz name - Jude Law.

Struggled to follow Michael Caine mind as anyone would but it wasn't great.

I also find *gets ready to duck from bulletts* Tom Hanks films are totally over rated really can't see what all the attraction is about him?

Tom Hanks was excellent as Woody in Toy Story, good in Apollo 13 and Saving Private Ryan but then out acted by Wilson the American football ball in Cast Away (which itself wasn't much more than a huge Fedex advert) whilst Forest Gump, despite the running theme, was clever but boring (and irritating) at the same time. As for the De Vinci Code - utter bollocks even with Audrey Tautou.

ha ha - man after my own heart there!

Didn't rate The Da Vinci code as a book really, (not seen the film as knew Tom was the 'star') it was ok, the best one in the series for me was Angels and Demons - thought Deception Point was pap and the Digital Fortress predictable!
