Were any other 'locals' up to see it?
See Dominion's avatar for a photo I took from near top of whernside with ingleborough 'floating in a sea' of cloud on that day too (23 Dec). It was amazing and I felt very happy that I had taken my camera!

90minute run/wade from Capel Curig on the day the weather station there recorded over 4inches of rain in just over 12hrs. Carneddau from Aber - slightly less wet. Cwm Eigiau - sleet and slush. If only it could be winter all year

Well I started our clubs beer trail last year and finished it this year. I gave up in the bad weather on New Years eve (only to see Mark Roberts and Scoffer just setting out) and finished on New Years day. (conveniently forgets to mention first foray at Christmas when I also gave up). But tonight I'm nearly an athlete again, I beat the handicappers target time for a 2 mile time trial.
    A circular route mostly downhill
