I want to do some races in South and Mid Wales. The WFRA website doesnt show any up to Dec and the calendar doesn't go into the new year - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Actually WP, if you took the M4 in the direction of Cardiff and turned right after the Severn Bridge you would return to England!
Actually I did know - but in the comedic moment I didn't think accuracy was required
I actually got my one and only speeding ticket on the A449 near Usk on my way to Cardiff.
I always like to think of it as an Entry Visa!

No it hasn't been run before... it is a new race and I am organising it :-) so please come along and run it, as I would feel awful if no-one turns up :-)
Actually, that reply was incorrect, it has been run before, many times, by me :-) but not as a race... start and registration is at the Crwon Inn in Longtown, then run up to Haterall Ridge, loop around at the top and streight back down. Good ascent, even better descent! You can go VERY fast on it as the going under foot is good, even when the weather has been carp! :-)

(I live in The Black Mountains, although 'westside'!!) Got some mates in Brecon area that might be able to drag over as well if there's still places.
Plenty of places :-) It is entry on the day... The races in our winter series are usually quite small, with 20-50 entries.
We have only just e-mailed out the SW winter series calendar, so not more info really than there is in there.
Go here: http://www.wfra.org.uk and on the lefthandside is a link to South Wales winter hill series 2008/9. It gives all races in the series, which are short and sharp and a lot of fun!
