Was it any good last year?
By all accounts of what I heard it was awesome.
The only thing I don't like about this, and similar events, are the 'team relays' - you give it everything to chase down the person in front, to find at the end that they were only doing the run leg!
But don't enter until I have, I'd hate not to get a place!
Why walk when you can run.
I did it and it was great.
Short swim in the lake, lovely rolling bike ride, (supposedly good for tri bars..so someone knowledgeable told me?) with only one big hill .
.....and a very scenic run that was nice and felly.
I'm sure it would be a bit tame for a seasoned triathlete like yourself Mud, but you had better hurry up if you want a place. .....95/300 entries already.
I rather like the look of 'A Day in the Lakes' next June - it'll be 'interesting' to tackle Kirkstone Pass from Patterdale side...
I've never done longer than Olympic distance so it looks like something to aim for next 'Summer'.
How about you 'Noor?
Just entered Keswick Tri and A Day in the Lakes - looks like I'm coming out of Triathlon retirement after 3 years on the sidelines...
