    Welsh speakers

    did you see this sign in Swansea? !!

    "No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only.

    Nid wyf yn y swyddfa ar hyn o bryd. Anfonwch unrhyw waith i'w gyfieithu."

    Don't speak a word of the language but apparently it translates as 'I am currently out of the office and will reply to your email on my return' - or words to that effect

    I love this one. Sent it to a mate of mine as we were having this discussion waiting at a red light in roadworks last weekend. The Welsh could have said anything and we would be clueless

    I'm amazed that no-one along the process of producing the sign questioned it, as the word "swyddfa" is everywhere as it's seen on the front of Post Offices. Well, it may be lesser seen now that a lot of PO's have closed.......
