I, as I always do, very much enjoyed the Sarah Rowell article in the current issue of the fell runner by Graham. I thought it was a well constructed piece and as always, well written by Graham.

Now about free advice, I have never paid for any advice but listen to anyone willing to share any information with me. I have heard numerous talks by current and older athletes and coaches. I have had Alan Storey tell me we are 'shit' and 'don't train hard enough'. Someone made reference to the fact we all spend too long playing computer games and partying and he said this the night before he hosted what is the UKs biggest marathon! Then I have heard Crammy and Martin speak and personally chatted to Martin about training on numerous occassions. All this advice and what did I do with it? I did what any educated, sensible person would do. I allowed myself time to process it. Some if I disregarded, some of it I tried to use and some of it I use now. There is so much information out there that it conflicts with what others think and do. Some training works for some and some doesn't.
