You mustn't have had it long as there's no shirts hanging on it yet!

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it my friend? I was just making sure i knew what i was looking at!!

I tried one in the gym once and found it bloody hard work! I always thought of it primarily as a climbers gym tool-mainly because of the film K2, when the lead man had one in his office!

It does seem to give an all body workout though, more than a rowing machine or stairclimber?

Very punishing i think! Out of interest what made you plum for it Darren?

    Re: Stairmasters

I use a similiar machine at the gym, after seeing a guy using it who's done the everest marathon etc and is a fine fell runner.

I asked the coach at the running club about it, (who's done the Bob G R etc ) and he stuck it on a 300w setting for me for fifteen minutes...

really does sort the legs out..

if it hurts it must be good

guess finding the 'optimun setting, duration and frequency is important

No the gym hasn't got one of those I've been alternating though and spending time on the stepper then straight on to the stairmaster both following a run on the dreadmill and think it's doing some good. Sticking with it anyway

I went to Woolworths at lunchtime, and they've started selling off things like shelving, counters, staff lockers, staff etc

I'm going to put an offer in on the escalators.
