Just wondered if any of you bikies have got on the bike and kept going.
Id be interested in knowing what mileage anyone has done in 24hrs?

Did a 12hour time trial once 228 mile ,but was stuffed after. Think the top guys can cover 480+ in 24 hours.
My god, how do your legs not turn to jelly.
What sort of speed are to top guys doing for a 24hr....
Our club record for the 24 hour is 456.7 miles set in 1982. It's not a popular race but the 12 hour is quite well supported with 3 or 4 from our club usually entering each year on the course from Garstang out to the coast. 534.7 miles is the world record set on an indoor track.
100 miles on the MTB at the Bristol 12, off pretty slim training. With a bit more commitment and prep I don't think twice that would be out of the question for 24. I'm guessing that you're more interested in a flattish road ride? Errm, dunno!
I see someone has managed 1,216m drafting behind an 18-wheel truck. Ouch.

Did a ATB race once at Bolton, 10ml in an hour, at the time I could have run the same without the bike! Aint done another.
235 for a 12 but 24 would be unknown terratory Daz - 400 would be a good goal to aim for.
