Just done leg 2 this morning, lots of mud, leaves on slippy roads and absolutely bloody freezing along to stoodley pike. A couple of steep hils to walk up but seems quite runnable for most part after the pike.
    why do we do?

Just done leg 6 with Mr + Mrs Crumblydown and a couple of Radcliffe lads. Too much road for my liking, and watch out for the farmer, with an axe, just after the downhill bit at the start

did leg two yesterday - hard start, and hard climb up to castle gate. Good leg though, bloody great fallen tree to do a james bond style slide under at run to finish!

Route descriptions a tad suspect from water tower, makes it look like you veer off left when you dont have to.
