Nocturnal races ?

I know a lot of clubs organise midweek club runs on the fells at night, however I'm struggling to find much in the way of actual race.

Anyone got any details ?

Clwydian Range Runners have ran a series of 3 races over winter for the last few years. Nothing on their website at the moment though.

I am sure there were some night events in Wharfedale last winter. The only events round here are some night orienteering events and the SROC Street O League which is held at night at various venues through the winter

'Dash in The Dark' dates are 23rd Jan, 13th Feb and 6th March. Start at 7 pm from the Llandegla Forest Visitor Centre

Not until end of Jan, eh? That should give my legs plenty of time to heal up from their current malady. I was worried that the series might have started in early December like in previous years.

Speaking of December, are you still intending to have the Moel Famau Downhill races this year WH?

Only one of them which is the Jubilee Plunge from Moel Famau to the back garden of the Goldie at Llangynhafal, Sunday 28th December at 2 pm. There will also be something called 'Rosey Nosey' which is from the Rose and Crown at Graianrhyd on Saturday 27th Dec at 2.30 pm (3.5m/600ft)

Welsh Harrier - I thoroughly enjoyed the downhill series last year and did really well considering I wasn't at all fit, now I'm in the shape of my life and I can't make it, gutted!
