    O'Hara's Irish Stout. Beautiful & a deserved award winner. Followed by a bottle of Tempest Brewing Co. Long White Cloud. Excellent too.
    A couple of bottles from my Groupon, Beer 52 deal. £1 a bottle! Happy days.

    My leaving do a few years back consisted of 5 pints of treacle stout on an empty stomach. Suffice to say I was violently ill! The only time my children have seen me drunk!

    Is this consumption of real ales and quality beverages becoming more popular down south ? seems a bit odd a southernsoftie shandy drinker starting this thread...
    Is all this ale drinking the secret of your success/longevity in fell-running Stagger....?
    Does Linda do a lot of carb loading ..she really is a good distance runner...nice as well
