I having been running around bowland fells for the last 15 years, know western part of fells above chipping really well.
think i may try and walk the route on sunday 16th, my legs wil need the exercise after pendle

I know the area above fell foot really well, I have a starting route in mind of 10miles ish which we can easily add miles/climb depending on weather, how long you want to be out etc. Fell foot to saddle end farm, up saddle fell over true summit of fairsnape, over to fiensdale head, down path to the west, south on track thro two farms, up main path to paddy pole along ridge to Parlick and to finish at fell foot-easy
If my heel is up to it by then, i would do whatever, but i'd be breaking off and heading back early if my heel really played up. I will let you know via forum on friday if i think it will be ok, as i dont like just not turning up.
