Thread: G'day

    G'day

    Hi there.

Moved over here from N.Z. in January, joined up with Erewash Valley Running Club, and got introduced to the joys of fell running (on what passes for mountains over here ).

I think my first one was Shining Tor, which was a bit challenging, culminating in the OMM - well, managed 6 hours out in the 'A' class one. Had the time of my life, although may have enjoyed it more if I had some water wings!

Anyways, have become hooked, so if you hear someone rambling on with an antipodean (sp?) twang, come and say hi .

Looking forward to meeting you all at some race somewhere.

Cheeky bugger. Having a go at our hills. They may be small but they're perfectly formed.

Does anyone else remember those slightly suggestive "small ones are more juicy" ads for Outspan oranges back in the 80s ?
