this morning I accidently inhaled a rice crispy!

I have been coughing like a smoker ever since and feel quite rough.

    Any suggestions anyone?

Snort some milk up your nose! If you hear a snap crackle or pop you'll be fine...

    Oh dear OHW,

It seems no one else is taking your predicament seriously Did you really inhale it all the way or did you manage to cough it back up? It is very unlikely that it is actually lodged down there. More likely that your bronchii are a bit irritated by the coughing fit that I'm guessing you had. The irritation will be the cause of the continued coughing. I bet it will have settled by tomorrow.

The lesson here I think is that really an endurance athlete should have been eating a much more complex carbohydrate based breakfast- difficult to inhale porridge

I really inhaled it all the way! Or at least that's what it felt like, I didn't cough it back up

Still coughing a bit today but you'll all be gald to know I had porridge for breakfast this morning.

Glad I didn't opt for muesli!! Bit scared of it now

    Thanks for your help everyone
