Blimey, I went to a fell race today, and ran with Wheeze. This is a very, very rare occurrence and am now enjoying the "quiet bit" with a bottle of red (woops, it's empty) and a certain glow.
Almost like the old days of racing and then home to a bouyant forum in one of the lounges.
Maybe there's still life in me.

I’m going to try to do a fell race before the end of the year. Last couple of months been rubbish for me and Stef with illness and a redundancy

Cant tell you how wonderful it was to see moley yesterday. Was life affirming, especially since this was the first time I have raced since my cardiologist gave me the all clear! The little mammal raced like a good un...Finished only just behind me!
