I spent 3 hrs this morning de-glazing a greenhouse that I have acquired from some new residents in the village. The newish greenhouse was present when they purchased the property but due to a roof vent being left open the wind got in and blew out a pane which frightened them and caused them to want to get rid.
All glass was removed intact but most of the time was spent carrying it about 80 yds through a rockery on narrow paths and steps in high winds to my vehicle.
Later this afternoon four of us carried the frame about quarter of a mile through the village and over a six foot wall into my back garden.
It was surprising how much of a buffeting the wind gave the empty frame on our journey.
I've washed the frame down and will now wait for a windless day to put the glass back in!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog
Early finish last night Brett.
Towels over pumps and shutters down for 11.
A couple of cracking days of warm weather.
Can't last much longer.
Anyone upto much?
No just laying low until he novelty wears off and the madding crowd can get back to the pubs, clubs, work Foreign holidays, school and whatever else it is they used to do:-

Funny old day, this heat drains the soul and in need of hydration. I'm thankful the bar is open and the cider chilled.
Have to dash, the missus wants me to help her carry the battery moth trap up the woods, it's all go here!
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
