Not quiet around here. A prat in a nearby holiday cottage has decided to bring his drone with him on holiday. I'm cutting the grass there tomorrow morning so hopefully he has left it on the lawn!

Went over to watch the Godiva lot in the Midlands Track & Field League today. The opportunity to compete was there, but I’m racing tomorrow.
Two weeks ago I’d never raced on a track. Since then I’ve done a 3000m, a mile, and today I expand my horizons again by getting drafted in to officiate the Discuss... managed to stick it out for about half an hour before telling them to lump it and get someone else to do it, as I wanted to watch the 5000m.
Our Somalian superstar provided most of the day’s entertainment... ran a sub-4min 1500m.... 20 minutes later he lined up in the 5000m... on lap two he stopped to re-tie his shoelace, losing about 100 metres in the process, but still ran out winner in 15:04....
What a beast...
