Good luck with your injuries Al. I suspect you're in a similar position to me when I started running. Quite fit from other excercise but injury prone because your body is not yet accustomed to the relatively long runs you're now doing. Don't despair but don't over do it either

Aye, i think thee body it telling me it need so time out. Ive got this recce on sat with PACMAN for the handicap race the week after.
And after that, im not sure whether i should take it easy for a while, or just to wait until im healed and then get back to my full training again.

This thread needs to get back on track...will someone please check out catbells and maiden moor please.

My bet is on Great Gable. Can't see: Great Calva; Steel Fell; Calf Crag; Rossett Pike; Green Gable; maybe not Brandreth. So that's 36 or 37. Another good contender would be Great End.

I like the site - great photos. They must have waited a long time for the clag to clear It would have been even better if they had arrows naming all the tops you can see

Great End looks like it's missing: Great Calva; Steel Fell; Calf Crag; Scafell (hidden by Scafell Pike) and Yewbarrow, though the latter should be visible from the western summit. http://www.madaboutmountains.com/10716pa.jpg

Thats where i did my first ever run in the fells. Only a couple of months ago actually. Loverly little crag, rapid decent on one side.

Yeah, that would be cool, my dad used to have a book like that with all the mountain ranges in the Dolomites in it with all the names of the peaks...

I think it's been done by just one woman - she has a thing about Skiddaw

Some of the shots are a bit claggy or have sun flare just where you want to see detail but in general a brilliant set of shots.
