What a fantastic magazine. Gorgeous colour, brilliant content and enough controversy to stuff the mailbag for months to come!!!
Absolutely brilliantly well done to everyone. The production values are astonishing. Correct me if I am wrong, but I detect some woodheadian input. Some of the sections are a bit like the old Up and Down.
One slight point. The faberoony glossy but slightly floppy and slippery cover reduces the 'handleability' of the mag. It tends to slip though the fingers when holding it and flops about a bit. A bit more stiff upper lip maybe?
Best of all, after 20 years of fell running, I finally have my picture in the Mag (even if it is bestride a bike rather than plunging majestically down a verdant slope!!). What could be better?!
Think Varley made a mug of himself though.
