When the World Snooker champs were on in Sheffield Ronnie went down to the track and trained with the Sheffield lads and told Ian Wainwright if he had to choose between running and snooker - running would win!
Keith Anderson ( Ambleside AC)was British fellrunning Champion.
He also raced the marathon for Great Britain in the1998 common wealth games in Kuala Lumper.
