    Accommodation Yorkshire Dales

    Hi,

Just a quick question does any one know anywhere good to stay in the Yorkshire dales, ideally the right balance between atmosphere, good food and cost, and some romance

    Suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you like real ale then try here. I have stayed a couple of times and it ticks all the boxes. Selection of beers is superb.

Also Reeth is a very nice place to stay at the other side of the Dales. Try the Kings arms. Think there are about 3 pubs around the green, all serving fine beer. Very nice and scenic village.

And there was me going to suggest the Subterrainian Society digs in Helwith Bridge. Good pub and fell running, but not very romantic staying in shared self catering accomodation which is built for a load of cavers.

They have a campsite there for a 2 man tent. You could snuggle up then!

try horton in ribblesdale, couple of nice pubs, nice area, and nice running up ghent or inglebugger. Failing that, consider dent, very nice little village, lovely warm pub and some nice runs including whernside

    Blue Bell, Kettlewell.
