    Darren Campbell

    Did anyone watch Darren and his boy doing Go Kart racing on channel 5 tonight? What a great dad and general nice bloke.

    He always seemed quite a balanced bloke when he was running.... He had a chip on both shoulders like his coach....

    Darren has done a hell of a lot for local communities in Manchester, so I think that's harsh.

    Fair enough, he came across very badly in every interview I ever saw with him. Seemed to think the sport owed him, not the other way round.

    He may not be 'polished' for the media, but remember where he came from - that's an achievement in itself.

    I agree - I'm afraid as much as he might be a nice bloke - he comes across as arrogant - as Dom puts it extremely well - a chip on both shoulders.

    What he did with Chambers would have been fine had he refused to race in the same team as him!
    Now he does street athletics with Christie!
