    Pen Y Ghent

According to OS, once at top of p y g (at the finger post) you seem to be able to head left down, is it down plover or clover hill, keeping the left side of wall (at work and dont have map with me. is this right and has anyone been down it? cant make recce on sun so was thinking of doing p y g early 2moz and coming down this way then back up p y g to top to add some extra climbing/miles in. I think once of top of p y g you get to bottom and then head back towards track (past pot holes?) that either takes you back to horton or back up to p y g. Does this make any sense to anyone who knows area better than me?? cheers

If you run from the trig toward Plover, the wall should be to your right. Expect shoe sucking bogs along there!!

That's it. Cant go far wrong even in thick mist. Nice drop off Plover onto the track back to Horton. Tie them shoes on tight and enjoy.

You've whet my appetite now. Think I'll head up myself Monday lunchtime and throw the 2nd climb in instead of going back directly to Horton.

egor, PYG-Plover Hill is a route that's featured in Stolly's Running Adventures several times and iirc with photos of the bogs
