As a suggested enhancement to the handbook, I wonder if it would be possible for the 2010 edition to identify (by different font, italics, bold or something) which races are new to the calendar. The first thing I do when I receive it is to look through to see what's new and this would help enormously!

PS - a seperate summary list of new races would also serve this purpose..

PPS - Before the guardians of the FRA's (voluntary) officials flame me, this is in no way meant as a criticism of an already excellent and invaluable publication

Have you ever thought of glancing through the index (from page 23) and looking for an unfamiliar name?

    Or is that too difficult?

You Brett and the Committee do an excellent job for us and we are very greatful for that.
Have a lovely Christmas and thanks again for all your hard work.
I don't know how many times these sentiments are echoed in the intervening pages Margeret, but I'd like to repeat them.

Happy New Year and thanks for all the hard work you and people like you put into this sport so people like me can just pitch up and pay a nominal entry fee to take part in great events.

Thanks again. The intervening pages have probably drifted off to other topics of conversation, but the point is worthy of repetition.

Er.... thats what I currently do... not too difficult, no, but I'm always on the lookout for a lazy man's solution.

I'd also thank Margaret and the rest of the FRA committee for the great work they put in but it seems to have already been done about a dozen times.
