Christmas Day Events

Not sure whether this thread has happened before.....if so apols.

Wondered if anyone knows of ANY (type) of races (fell,road,tri) on Christmas Day, apart from the following tri - http://www.tritalk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=52260

I once ran a running race in I think Kenilworth from a pub, all quite hush hush (as they were in the days before tinternet really took off), a 3 miler road race starting and finishing from a pub.

By the way, cruel but Boxing Day doesn't count as I know that there are loads and loads of races (including the 10 t/t near to Hinckley).

No good for you - and you've missed this years of course - Lauriston Running Club have organised a paarlauf on Wimbledon Common for years. You turn up, get ranked, slowest is paired with fastest and then its which pair runs the furthest in 30 minutes.
Dead flat though - not a slope to be seen!
