All of the Petzl Tikkas and Zipkas claim to be only water resistant IPX4 (splash proof). Even the Myo RXP is only IPX4 - the cheapest Petzl to claim IPX7 ie waterproof even when immersed is the Myo Duo 14. I would like to find a head torch that is both waterproof AND regulated (ie the LEDs don't quickly lose about half their light). The Princeton Tec Quad has both qualities at £24.99 but has only 21 lumens, has anyone used it?

I hadn't noticed they'd gone to the trouble of IP certifying their products and marketing them as being such would confuse most customers anyway. My Duo just says 'Water resistant' which would be X6 at the highest as X7 doesn't allow any ingress within the specified depth.

    Water resistant is IPX4.

I need to replace my ancient Petzl Zoom, the choice is mindboggling, has anybody used any of the Zebralights? Any positive or otherwise comments, the H51W looks a good option?
