I was forgetting you did the xc yesterday.
    How did you finish today?
did you catch the lad from dewsbury?
His mate came into the finish just in front of us and got lost in the car park.
    moved me up a place

Fatal mistake, still managed 3.54 which i'm happy with.
What a well organised event, i couldn't eat some of the broth because of certain allergies.
A nice lady behind the counter said she'd make me some cheese on toast.
    Wicked, it was delicious.
Many thanks to the organisers and helpers.
Back next year for another 25 miles of torture?
Anyone know the lead time on the long un? I would have thought good times all round with the firm footing (as long as the sheet ice was avoided).
Another really well organised event, with home made broth and fresh apple pie at the end - fresh food makes all the difference. Thanks very much East Lancs LDWA

Many thanks to East Lancs LDWA another great event. The broth, apple pie and numerous cups of tea were really welcome.

Managed to knock four minutes of my time for last year (probably due to not lingering at the tent for cakes at Tuton & Entwistle). Wind was murder coming from bull hill to peel tower plus happy to stay upright throught the woods towards the end.

All in all a great morning

As an LDWA virgin that was my first. Very impressed, especially with the food and tea!

I made the 18 mile rout 16.7 miles with 2,300ft of ascent.

    Any results?
Biriani for endurance, pathia for speed.

Re: Two Crosses Circuit 11th J

It was a grand morning out, as always. Well done to the organisers and helpers. I spent nearly as much time chinwagging in the hall afterwards as I did running the event. Made a couple new friends. It was good to see everyone, including Chris & Socks.
Well done with your time by the way, Chris. I told you you'd beat me, even though I got a PB!

Hopefully the results should appear here in due course. Otherwise it's nearly a year's wait for the hard copy that will accompany the notification of the 25th installment in 2010.

The lad from dewsbury and his mate are one and the same!
Really should have reccied the last 10 yards, and brought some drink with me en route.
Great event, wouldnt have fancied it softer underfoot.

    Well done anyway mate.
We were shouting you at the finish to tell you you'd gone the wrong way.
It's a tough old route and testing for the fittest of runners.
