Just received my number for this. I've got number 183, there is a limit of 250 so should be enough spaces for entry on the day if anyone decides to do it at the last minute. Although the results I got showed that 270 people did it last year.

Doubt I will do any better than my time last year as I haven't run further than 8 miles for ages.

looks like strong winds form the south/sw again this year, makes the 3-4miles over Ramsbottom to Peel Tower the usual hard slog having done 20 odd miles at that point. i hope it says dry

That was hard today.
It didn't help trying to keep with the leaders.
Fatal mistake, still managed 3.54 which i'm happy with.
What a well organised event, i couldn't eat some of the broth because of certain allergies.
A nice lady behind the counter said she'd make me some cheese on toast.
Wicked, it was delicious.
Many thanks to the organisers and helpers.
Back next year for another 25 miles of torture?
