Does that not turn it into a Mulligatawny.

Good idea though Travs. I'll try it neat first and let you know how I get on!

I found a tin of oxtail in the cupboard yesterday and had it for lunch, spooky eh 👻.
It was a little disappointing and not as flavoursome as I remember, must try additive. But mulligatawny is the very best, proper job 👍.
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

After having been warmed by a fantastic bonfire this morning, soup was not really required for lunch but the tin of Oxtail was waiting for me.

Nothing to write home about but it was best before 2019.

I couldn't find any curry powder as suggested by Travs but fished out a jar of paprika from the back of the cupboard and gave the Oxtail a liberal sprinkling. It didn't taste much different and then I noticed that the Paprika was Best Before 03 2007!

I think I'll have to have a spring clean of that cupboard over the weekend!

And my wife tells me off for using stuff that's just a few months beyond its Best Before date.
