Can some one please tell me what the cut offs times and locations for Borrowdale and Kinder Trog?
Also for some one who has completed Kentmere in 2.5 hours and windgather in the same time how hard is it to make these cutoffs?
Thanks

The cut off point at Borrowdale is at Honister......if memory serves I think it was 3 hours but could very well be mistaken
Still "Afloat in the stone heavings of emptiness"
I have a vague recollection of there being a cut-off on the Trog last year for the first time. I wasn't running as it was the day after Ennerdale, but I'm fairly sure it was very generous.
You could check with the organiser - [email protected] - or maybe Luvshack, as he knows everything Kinder related.
Comparing Borrowdale and Windgather is a bit difficult. Windgather is virtually a trail race compared to Borrowdale!
thanks all
Anyone have a definitive answer re Kinder Trog - times and places?
it was 2hrs at Edale Cross and 3hrs at Peep-O-Day
the Peep-O-Day cut-off is a bit superfluous though, as if you get to Edale Cross in under 2 there's no way it's gonna take you an hour to get to P-O-D
I think they let a few people through at Edale Cross who had taken a few minutes over the 2 hours, but it was very good weather and they might not be so generous in bad conditions.
I got to Edale Cross in 1:50, and on to P-O-D in 2:28
(and I staggered round Windgather in 2:58)
Don't remember there being one for Kinder Trog and I've done it a few times.
there are cut-offs at Kinder Trog, at Edale Cross and at Peep-O-Day, but if you got round Windgather in 2:30 you will have no problem whatsoever
