Nav's simple pretty simple.
Well almost - ask Welsh Harrier! :-) If you keep it simple and stick to the paths it's OK, I went a bit wrong after the second climb up.
But the main difficult but was the last run off the ridge where you could end up in the wrong valley..
For large parts it's almost a trail race though, fast running really.

I'm sure i posted the grid refs for the checkpoints on another thread in the summer...
The brecon races don't seem to get huge numbers, but the weather for this race last year was horrendous. Heavy rain, thick cloud and strong winds. It was part of the WFRA champs but still didn't get a big field.
I think it's one of the only races I've ran around holding a map and compass for over the half the race.
one last question are there any cutoff times for this?
