Results from todays Bradda Fell Race - an absolute epic in the wettest & mistyest conditions we've seen on the course on a long time:-
"Lloyd Taggart broke the course record today knocking about 2 minutes off the long-standing previous best (2 hr 6 min 32 sec held by Del Davies since 1986). A quite superb display of running in conditions that were far from ideal, and don`t forget the old record was set when the race was held in July. He finished 8 minutes ahead of Simon Skillicorn with Paul Sheard 3rd.
Lloyds partner Jackie Lee was first female in a time of around 2.41. Rose was second and Bridgette third.
Full results to follow as soon as poss." (Quote Richie Stevenson - Manx Fell Runner's president).

What is more exciting is that Lloyd is entering this years Manx Mountain Marathon (which he ran a section of on Saturday as a recce!! - The Bradda race also covers part of the route) so it looks very likely that Colin Donelly's long standing record on that course may also fall!!
