Thread: Man Flu

    Man Flu

Second dose for 2009, which promps the question.

    Shall I run though it?

I seem to remember being told that if its above the throat you should train, below it rest.

Have a cough now so im think the "sensible" thing in this case would be... rest

Thoughts and opinions would be most welcome.

    Ah!

That explains your absence from tonights reps. You missed a good session - 8 x 400 and 200s.

Hope you're using some of that sick bed time to check out some good routes on the map!

Will you be up and running by the weekend?

Lots of sympathy - hope you're being looked after - hot toddy etc! Such a terrible ailment; man flu.

Running helps you "sweat it out" but if you stil feel bad then leave it alone. I find training either makes me a lot feel better or makes me feel only a bit worse so might be worth a gamble

I have had septic tonsilis for 6 weeks, and i went yesterday to Holland & Barratt, and after just one teaspoon of this ...

Colloidal Silver is said to act as an anti-biotic, antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial.

My sore throat has cleared completely!

So, if you want to run, and want to get rid of the sore throat, maybe try this too...

Also good for bruises and cuts...

    Hi All,

Thanks for the responses. I did 4 miles yesterday and didnt feel to bad but it has made my cough worse so im going to take this evening off and see what happens tomorrow.

Gutted I missed the intervals, its a great quality session.

Been looking at the maps stef, dont your worry, probably wont go too far this weekend though.

Mrs Ginge has man flu too so i have had to self medicate with brandy its not all bad.
