    I use it as a training route, only really two major downhills on it so your knees shouldn't be too bad, good slog up the back of Winter Hill, pure enjoyment !

    Hendersons End is lots of trail rather than fell. I ran it two years ago, which was the first year they had offered it as a race rather than just an internal club run. Think I won coz not many knew about it or turned up. Didn't manage it last year as it was the day after something else.
