Quite disappointed to hear this. I must have recced that top loop 4 or 5 time over the past month. Still, i suppose i don't really want to get shot. Maybe i'll just have to do the full in Feb.

Big Compass, was it you i saw at HBK on my bike then yesterday?

I think it was Fungus, two old men out for a steady run round, you said you would be doing the race.

Yes - you'll have to do the Full in Feb as well, Fungus. And your mate will have reccied it ready for Feb too, Big Compass.

It wasn't really our decision to change the route, the landowner said that he did not want us to go down there while the shooting is on. As always we're reliant on goodwill with landowners to put races on, so we had to come to a compromise.
To be fair he was very apologetic and said he hadn't realised there would be a clash between our race and the shoot that had been organised, until too late.

No problem with the route change, still looks like a good run too me, but that was a hell of a drop down and then back up, still might now get to two hours which wont be bad for a 60+ vet,

It will be good to see a few of you at the race this weekend. Good South Pennines route over all different terrain. Good ale and food in the pub after the race.*

Had a good run, but it was fast and I would not want to do 20 miles in that mud even if it is good for the complexion, thanks to all at CV it was a brill day.

Great race - saw some spectacular bog dives -a real Trog! My first time on the half (usually opt for the full) - thanks to Adam, Bill and co.
