    Valentine's Day flowers

Well, it's that time of the year. I keep getting pestered by loads of junk emails from Interflora and the like about buying flowers for "your loved one". I've been deleting these and chunnering on under my breath.

It must be working cumulatively though - this morning thinking of succumbing to all the marketing and going for a few red roses...

yesterday i bought her indoors 30 roses, a mixed bunch of red pink and white for £15

Then went and picked a duck for £2 from local shop. All the fresh produce is drastically reduced due to the shops having too much stock and no customers due to the snow!!

some nice pink lillies will suffice, cheap but very nice in bloom, last a while also. Very "freudian" choice too. some nice pink champers to compliment them perhaps?
go play on the m 6, now, how does that sound

Actually I think it's an over rated load of old tosh!

I'm sure there are plenty of ways of expressing affection/devotion/love throughout the year without all rushing out buying some imported flowers and a box of chocs (she'll only moan they make her fat)

I've clearly been hanging around with half of you lot too often!
