Anyone know about the Heaton park x-country relays? is this event on this year?
This was mentioned at our committee meeting last month, our information is that it is not being held this year owing to the dwindling numbers. Sad, very sad

cheers for reply, yes it would be a sad to lose this event, also bin looking for the road relays again in Heaton park, any ideas?
I can confirm that too. Manchester Harriers have cancelled/posposed it this year due to the lack of interest.

Shame to see this one go - in the early-1990's when I ran in this, there were a more than reasonable number of teams entered... The thing is, those running in the last Manc league then the National may not want to do this as well, giving 3 consecutive weeks of racing?

I was just looking for a date for this, St Helens Sutton ahve it on their website for the 28th of Feb? People at Trafford are asking about this, gutted if it isn't on.
