    silent Ponden Race

    Another superb race last night.

Sheet ice, hardpacked crusty snow and a slippy footpath round a sheer drop made the whole thing "interesting".

There should be a prize for the most ice cuts, as i would have won, as it was I only just held off a very determined 11 year boy.

Thanks to Charlie Marshall and Colin Moses for setting the whole thing up, it was even marked throughout.

Is there a prize for no ice cuts and no falls whatsoever?

Maybe it could be called "the wuss trophy"
