Always found Pete Bland to be really helpful. Would recommend the shop.
I find that I rarely wear my pants so I've got the lightest pair possible made from Pertex. I got mine from Karrimor (no longer trading) and are very compact thus saving space and weight in the bumbag. I think Pete Bland has some from Inov8 which are very similar and almost as light.
