General indication of location is Wales, which is a good thing...
Now where oh where in Wales do we think it will be???

Your on the ball Haneke,
I would think maybe the Brecons could be a possibility, don't want to go too near any slate mines !!
I was thinking the same Don...
I was even wondering about the Army training ground at Sennybridge... restricted public access, no nosy slatemine owners for miles and miles and miles...

Done a few MTB marathons round Buillith.

My island is very nice
Brecon- did this area in 2005 (?) on Black Mountain - not that large an area on the Beacons - reckon further north around Rhaeader / Plymlummon, some wild country in that area - just ask Molehill! Alternatively there's a lot of remote country east of Blanaeu Festiniog towards Bala, and there's always the Rhinogs to consider
(chants) Rhinogs, Rhinogs, Rhinogs!!
I'd pay anything, just anything to hear the mass whining of a bunch of OMMers trying to find their way around Moel Oh-My-God after a merry afternoon ripping their quads to shreds on the Fawr and Fach route!

And they try and tell us that it was hard last year in Borrowdale
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!
Borrowdale is not worthy of cleaning the boots of the Rhinogs.

I never said I thought Borrowdale was hard... It wasn't... so easy to navigate around there. Ohhh, look, a slate mine, with a cafe and posh loos, that must be Honister Pass then. Lets stop briefly before heading up Dale Head to get some more checkpoints in before trundling down to Buttermere for the night

You can give up any hopes of posh loos in the Rhinogs - it's wipe-yer-arse-on-a-dead-sheep sort of country out there
