    Sick Of It All

Yeah bloody gel wrappers etc etc etc
fed up with hearing about people going on about what to do about this problem.

    SOLUTION
Every runner at each race should be made to write there race number in permanent marker on the bloody wrappers before they start. Same goes for these damm lucozade sports bottles.
Write the race number on then if its found shame the ba,..///rds.

Im fed up like AMEX is and others of picking stuff up.

If you cant be arsed , take some bloody cake round the route or a gingerbread man. Either way its wrecking our sport and something needs to be done.
But im sick of people going on about it. In fact I think gels should be banned at races.
There was some at the wadsworth trog ( Now i was 14th in the race and i picked 2 gel wrappers up on the course. So whats that all about. For every 14 runners we get 2 gel wrappers. I mean surely on a long race the 5 seconds it takes to stuff it back in your sack is nothing.
Reminds me of the OCTops last year when Marvin caught someone chucking a wrapper down and shamed them into picking it up again.
    Its a joke

Unfortunately, for some people even 5 seconds is an inconvenience. It's lke those who throw litter out of their car, I mean come on, how inconvenient would it be to leave it in the car until you get home?!

Another gripe I have is those who flytip down the country lanes where I run. They have to go through all the bother of driving there in the first place, why can't they just go the tip instead?!

I always found a big bowl of porridge for brekkie before a race is much more enjoyable than sucking a snot like substance out of a foil bag anyway. Gel is a last resort during long races.
