Yeah, I can just about find the toilet.
My problem is not navigation per se....its more a case of trusting myself......I was thinking at the time that Karl had given everyone a bum steer at Noonstone last week but I didnt have the confidence to go the direction I felt was right.................and why not......I mean, he'd run the race 3 or 4 times.

That's cos i had a compass in my hand and i actually used it! I know by now that chasing boys will only lead me into trouble

That's crafty - it seems no-one else thought to do that!

I had a chuckle on the way to number 2 as a group of about half a dozen headed over to the the South Summit. One of the chaps at the back saw me heading off left had a double take, faltered for a second and went along with the others hehe goodbye...

What a good idea when the clags down.

If all races were run in the clag it would be very interesting

Just seen the results from sunnyish Barcelona - can´t believe i´ve been disqualified, i did go to CP1 but missed the dibber (must improve hand eye co-ordination) and didn´t make any effort to have a 2nd go as the starter had said they were going to be relaxed about dibbing on CP1 due to congestion (they did say this didn´t they?)... I thought i was on for a decent result there as well (more due to other peoples misfortune than my own great running!

I´ve written to the organiser to see what they say... fingers crossed!

surely you just need to prove you visited the checkpoint eg witnesses/marshalls. After all it's not orienteering.

I was quite suprised to see a couple disqualified at CP 1, when reading results, I thought i heard the guy at the start saying it would be ok to miss the dibber at CP 1if it was too congested.

I enjoyed "racing" 4 or 5 of the fast lads down from Black Combe after they had been off for recce somewhere, not sure how that many of them got lost on the way up, (the bloke in front of me knew the way )

The starter said that it wouldn't be crucial to dib at the first checkpoint. I would expect a reinstatement.

I thought he said that it was crucial to punch at the first checkpoint however congested or busy it was....
