    Tour de Galles 09

Ok I know, no running is involved, but its long and it will be a challenge so here it is, our bit of fun for the summer......

The Steam Bunnies are pleased to announce their latest adventure; the Tour de Galles, a journey by bike to the cardinal limits of Wales (N,S,E,W) via the 10 highest cols in the principality (and several gratuitous others).
This will take place over 4 days in July, probably 10-13th, though we need to confirm with all interested parties first. The route is being finessed as we speak though in summary the four days will be as follows:

Day 1 Angelsey to Llangurig (Steam Bunny Assizes at the Bluebell Inn)
Day 2 Llangurig to St Davids
Day 3 St Davids to Cardiff
    Day 4 Cardiff to Monmouth

This is a total of approx 516 miles and lots of climbing, though as with all things this may go up or down pending additional col bagging.
The Tour will be fuelled by Lemon Drizzle cake for all apart from Wheeze, he is not allowed such pleasures and he will have to survive on low GI cardboard. Its a lifestyle choice, he requires no sympathy.
Expressions of interest and offers of support to Wheeze or myself, together with certification of insanity and size of lemon drizzle cake required (S,M, L,XL). This is a no t-shirt tour

As Galles is a feminine noun, is the correct title "Toure de Galles"?

Tour de Galles it is, wether Galles is male or femal does not make a difference to tour...
