First race Under 16s and Under 18s ( same course) 12.00
Under 8s 12.05
Under 10s 12.25
Under12s start when all Under 10s and Under 16s and Under 18s are back
Under 14s start when all under 12s are back
Parking will be at a premium as the field behind the Institute which we normally use is now unfit. Please park as directed by the marshals on the day.
A quick recce' around the routes last night with 20 or so juniors met with universal approval. Much better start and finish area than last year although its a tough start, quite steep straight away with not much chance to warm up before the climb. A steep downhill finish on a good grassy surface should ensure a good challenge. As yet very dry everywhere and optimum conditions underfoot. All the details ( apart from the Under 8s map which I still have to sort out ) are on the Juniors page on our club website www.rossendaleharriers.co.uk

great day out at the races.. many friendly faces from the organisers more than made up for the rossendale weather.. good effort the club did well to marshall the carparking/ start /route so effectly.. and fabulous cakes and sandwiches ( cheap too) at the finish..
Well done to everyone who ran today on tough courses, well liked I think by most of the runners. Sorry about the weather but it could have been worse i think. Hope everyone thought that the event went well, its quite difficult sorting out 5 races at one time, hopefully we got most things right. As soon as I have the results I will put them on our club website and post the link here, tonight or in the morning. Big thank you to all of our helpers ( special thanks to Jim )
