    2 yeas ago jonny bradshaw did it in just over 13 mins so id say for us about 15-16mins its about a 3mile course

    Do you mean about 2 miles?
    4:20 miling on the fell is equivalent to a probably sub 3:50 1500m

    yeah 2-2.5 id say, seniors is 3mile 900ft. same ascent as darwen less mileage

    Mel and her family are mates - and so are Laura and her parents.

    I was chuffed to bits for Mel on Sunday, but that wasn't Laura's running.

    Laura will still be the one to beat at Darwen, but clearly Mel is always there to be reckoned with as well.

    Interestingly, the toughest FRA was Wansfell, where Laura came out on top!

    Both class runners. The number of times certainly Mel has passed me at the bottom of a climb only to disappear out of sight is frustrating. However Lauras speed as she demonstrated when she did 31 minutes in a 5 mile trail race is incredible.
    As for the lads. Sean Carey and Ryan Gould are good bets
